One Year of Blogging

Hey Guys!!

Can you believe it’s been one year since we started Indigo Child Blog?! This year has gone by super fast and being able to put all our creative energy into our blog has been such an amazing and humbling experience. One thing that Scott and I have both picked up this year is the power to create whatever you feel like getting out into the world. ANYTHING is possible if you believe in yourself, and take the time to really get a grasp on how you can achieve your goals. A year ago, we were both nervous and excited to start making content geared towards our blog and had no idea of some of the obstacles that come with keeping up a travel blog. Although it’s been a year since we started our blog, we still have lots to learn and are always trying to improve our blogging tactics, we are definitely not experts and that’s okay! Our blog has evolved so much since we first went live, originally starting as a travel video/photography blog we have branched out to talk about different topics that scale from social media, talking about the benefits vegetarianism, music festivals, and making content for youtube with helpful talks and stories. We plan to continue branching out and talk about more subjects outside the travel realm because it helps us explain who we are as people and things that we think are important to talk about and show through our content. Part of the thrill of making content is watching our audience grow and engage with us about the things we are working on. Over the year we have connected with so many talented people online, it’s been crazy how branching out and making new friends all happened because of the work we have put into the blog. We appreciated all the support from you guys, sticking with us, and watching us grow on this journey.

To kind of break down and talk about how our year has been, we decided to make a video explaining all the goodies of travel blogging and how to set yourself up for success if you are interested in starting a blog or creative project ๐Ÿ™‚ Watch the video below to learn more!
